There are some in office here at Chemeketa who feel students leaving the college with degree no longer need possess any level of computer literacy beyond that which they have aquired on their own. They maintain students coming into Chemeketa already have a level of computer literacy that will serve them in life after college. They wish to take computer literacy out of the currulium for all degrees at Chemeketa (except CS and CIS).
