Instructions

Conduct an internet search on topics regarding families and marriage
Find a current article on one topic (ex. Types of families, different types of marriages, mate selection, divorce, violence, parenting styles, etc.) 
Provide a summary of the article 
Discuss the functionalist perspective on the family, including the perspectives of Durkheim and Parsons.
