Goodpaster argues that stakeholder analysis does not involve comprehensive decision making since it’s a subset of a decision making process. Stakeholder analysis is observed as the initial phase of decision making and opens way for moral consideration in the process of decision making. The analysis starts with identification of stakeholders whom the decision is going to affect as well as taking account of their influence in the process.
